How to read StableRate's tables
Every column on the StableRate stablecoin and staking leaderboards explained: provider, chain, 30-day average, current rate, trend, TVL, sparklines, and the details behind the + button.
Education, not financial advice. Rates change; DeFi carries smart-contract and depeg risk. Do your own research.
What each row is
Each row is one pool: a single place you could deposit one coin on one blockchain. The same protocol can appear several times, for example once for USDC on Ethereum and once for USDC on Base, because the rates differ.
The columns, one by one
- #
- Position in the current sort order. It is not a safety ranking.
- Protocol / Provider
- The service that runs the pool, and the coin or receipt token you would hold.
- Type (staking only)
- Native means delegating on the network itself, Liquid means you get a tradable receipt token, Restaking adds another layer for extra rewards and extra risk.
- Chain
- The blockchain the pool lives on. You need your coins on that chain, and a little of its gas coin, to deposit.
- 30d avg
- The average APY over the last 30 days. This is the default sort, because it is steadier than today’s number.
- Now
- The latest APY reported for the pool. It can change at any time. Colors are a quick visual tier only: amber marks 15% or more, which is unusually high.
- Trend
- Today’s rate compared with the 30-day average: rising, falling or steady.
- TVL
- Total value locked: the dollar value of everything deposited in that pool. Bigger pools are often more established and easier to exit, but size is not a safety guarantee.
- 30 days
- A small chart of the daily rate over the past month, so you can spot spikes and steady pools at a glance.
- + (details)
- Opens the risks for that pool, any note on reward tokens or lockups, and links to the data source and the protocol’s website.
What we filter out
By default the stablecoin list only shows pools with at least $10M deposited, at least 30 days of history and a rate no higher than 25%. Staking pools need at least $1M staked. Data comes from DefiLlama and public chain APIs and refreshes about every hour. Hover or tap any (?) next to a column name for a reminder.
What the tables don’t tell you
- Whether a protocol is safe. We don’t audit anything.
- Fees you pay to get in and out, including gas.
- Taxes, or whether a product is available where you live.
Use the table to shortlist, then follow the safety checklist.
